We are looking for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join our dedicated Adult Services team. This role supports adults in maintaining wellbeing, independence, and safety through assessments, planning, and coordinated caseload management.
Role Overview
As an Adult Social Worker, you will work with adults who require support to maintain their wellbeing, independence, and safety. You will undertake assessments, develop support plans, manage complex caseloads, and collaborate with health professionals, families, and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing Care Act assessments and reviews
- Undertaking safeguarding enquiries
- Managing complex casework and risk assessments
- Developing person‑centred support plans
- Working in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Promoting independence and positive outcomes for service users
- Supporting adults through strengths‑based practice
Qualifications
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
- Experience within Adult Social Care
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a busy and fast‑paced environment
