Key Responsibilities:

• nConduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients with a range of foot and lower limb conditions.n

n

• nPerform clinical procedures including nail surgery, wound care, and orthotic provision.n

n

• nEducate patients on foot care and provide advice on managing their conditions.n

n

• nCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.n

n

• nMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.n

n

• nParticipate in clinical governance activities and contribute to service improvement initiatives.n

n

• nSupervise and mentor junior staff and students as required.n

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• nHCPC registration as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist.n

n

• nRelevant degree or diploma in Chiropody/Podiatry.n

n

• nCompletion of NHS mandatory training.n

n

• nProven experience working as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.n

n

• nEvidence of continuing professional development.n

Desirable Skills:

• nExperience in nail surgery and advanced wound care.n

• nCompetence in the provision of custom-made orthotics.n

n

• nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.n
