Role Overview
The Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a successful, forward‑thinking organisation committed to providing high‑quality care to our patients.
This role is in the Head and Neck outpatients department, supporting Ear, Nose and Throat, Maxillofacial and Ophthalmology clinics at the Kings Treatment Centre.
The primary role of the Clinical Assistant is to provide high quality care to a designated group of patients, promote a positive patient experience, and work in collaboration with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
There is an opportunity to receive a variety of training to allow you to undertake vision, field, support in minor ops and support clinicians in outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities
- Support Head and Neck outpatients in Ears, Nose, Throat, Maxillofacial and Ophthalmology clinics.
- Provide high quality care to a designated group of patients and promote a positive patient experience.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members.
- Support clinicians during outpatient clinic sessions and minor operations.
- Participate in training programmes as required.
