Paint Sprayer

Key responsibilities

• To apply finishes, coatings, and paints to components and products to a high standard, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to production schedules.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, cleaning, and masking as required.
• Mix paints, stains, lacquers, and coatings to the correct colour and consistency.
• Operate spray guns and related finishing equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply coatings evenly to meet quality and finish specifications.
• Inspect finished items for defects such as runs, overspray, or uneven coverage.
• Carry out minor repairs or rework where needed.
• Maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow health and safety procedures, especially around ventilation and chemical handling.
• Work to production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Liaise with production and quality teams to resolve finish issues.

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in paint spraying.
• Good attention to detail and a steady hand for high-quality finishes.
• Awareness of health and safety in a workshop or spray-booth environment.

Additional information

Hours: 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Start Date: ASAP.
