Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their growing team in Andover.

Working

• Monday – Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Friday: 8 AM – 2:30 PM
• Salary: £15 – £18 per hour (overtime available)

Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate CNC machines.
• Produce high quality machined parts in accordance with work instructions and drawings.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Work as part of the team to support colleagues as well as the needs of the business, with a focus on continual improvements.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge and an understanding of CNC turning processes.
• Understanding of FANUC controllers and their functions in CNC 2‑axis lathes.
• Strong maths and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work specifications/instructions.
• Ability to effectively use hand tools for machine setup and maintenance.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work to set procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to work effectively to tight deadlines.
• Keen eye for detail and quality mindset.
