Arable Operator job – Suffolk

Overview

We are a progressive and well-equipped 1,200 ha arable farming business, committed to high standards of crop production, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Our operation utilises modern machinery and precision farming techniques.

The Role

Arable Operator to support all aspects of crop production. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys operating and maintaining modern machinery to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Cultivations, drilling, spraying, harvesting & estate work
• Machinery maintenance, servicing, and daily checks
• Assisting with grain handling and store management
• Accurate record keeping (spray records, operations, compliance)
• Maintaining high standards of crop husbandry, machinery care, and health & safety

Requirements

• Previous experience in arable farming
• Strong machinery operation skills (Greenstar)
• PA1, PA2, certificates
• Telehandler certificate
• Good attention to detail and mechanical awareness
