Our client is looking for an organised, detail-driven Events Fundraising Assistant to support their events portfolio over a four-month fixed-term contract and help millions of separated children return to family.
About the Role
As the Events Fundraising Assistant you will manage a portfolio of fundraising events from mid-August to mid-December 2026. You will work closely with the events team and coordinate tasks such as managing guest lists and dietary requirements, supporting brochure production, silent auction delivery and post‑event income tracking. Your work will directly impact the success of events that fund the mission to eliminate orphanages and ensure every child grows up in a safe, loving family.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate event logistics including guest lists and dietary requirements.
- Assist with brochure production and silent auction materials.
- Track post‑event income and support financial reporting.
- Support donor-facing communications and copywriting.
- Use auction platforms such as Bid Aid, Canva and monday.com where required.
About You
- Organised, detail‑oriented and a confident written communicator.
- Comfortable holding multiple deadlines across several events simultaneously.
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience supporting event delivery and working with databases.
- Experience drafting copy for donor‑facing materials.
- Familiarity with auction platforms such as Bid Aid, Canva, monday.com is a bonus.
- Strong commitment to the mission and understanding that every well‑run event helps children find their way back to family.
Contract and Compensation
Fixed‑term contract: 4 months (mid‑August to mid‑December 2026). Part‑time – 22.5 hours per week, part‑time pattern negotiable, ideally worked over 4 or 5 days. Salary: £26,314 – £28,347 per annum pro rata, dependent on experience. Location: Salisbury, with flexible and home‑working options (ideally one day per week in our Salisbury office).
