Semi‑Skilled Maintenance Operative

Summary of the role

Join a small team of operatives at the Streatham Campus to deliver a high level of building maintenance. The role is full‑time, permanent and starts immediately.

Responsibilities

• Gutter and gully maintenance
• Footpath maintenance
• Scaffolding tower supply and installation
• Installation of fixtures and fittings as required
• Additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Operations Structural Team Leader

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience in structural works or equivalent
• Starter/finisher mentality and methodical approach to work
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation
• Valid UK driving licence with the ability to drive vans

Reporting & Team

Reports to the Maintenance Operations Structural Team Leader and works alongside operatives in the Electrical, Mechanical & Structural Services teams.

Salary

£28,029 to £30,339 on Grade C, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
