You get to own security end-to-end for this leading Investment Management firm.
This is a 165 person asset management firm based in London, backed by one of the largest asset managers in the world. It means resource, credibility, and a modern, fully cloud based environment that is genuinely well set up.
You are monitoring, maintaining and improving the overall security posture day to day. You are keeping on top of a threat landscape that shifts constantly, making sure the firm is ahead of it rather than reacting to it. The environment is Microsoft heavy, so you are working across Azure, Defender and Intune.
One part of the role sits around audit and compliance. The parent company runs yearly audits against NIST guidelines, so you are the person making sure the firm is compliant, controls are documented, and nothing gets missed when that process comes around.
The rest of your time is hands on technical security work: IAM, vulnerability management, keeping systems tight and making sure the overall posture keeps improving.
They are looking for you to have this mix between audit/compliance expertise alongside the general cyber fundamentals. Ideally, you’ll be coming from a smaller team where you’re used to the generalist nature of this role instead of being siloed.
This would be a great second or third step in your security career where you want real ownership rather than being one of many.
It is based in London, 5 days a week and paying up to £125k base plus bonus.
