What You Will Be Doing
As a General Assistant/Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential part of the event team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across food service and retail areas. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with food preparation and service.
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout kitchen and service areas.
- Supporting chefs and front-of-house teams as required.
- Restocking supplies and ensuring workstations remain organised.
- Assisting with stock movement and general event setup duties.
- Providing excellent customer service when required.
Requirements
- Previous hospitality experience is desirable.
- A valid Food Safety Level 2 Certificate is required (or willingness to obtain one before the event)
- A valid Food Allergen Certificate is required (or willingness to obtain one before the event)
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work between 10th and 16th August.
