Pay Rate: £12.71 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience and employer)

Event Dates: 10th – 16th August

What You Will Be Doing

As a General Assistant/Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential part of the event team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across food service and retail areas. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with food preparation and service.
  • Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout kitchen and service areas.
  • Supporting chefs and front-of-house teams as required.
  • Restocking supplies and ensuring workstations remain organised.
  • Assisting with stock movement and general event setup duties.
  • Providing excellent customer service when required.

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality experience is desirable.
  • A valid Food Safety Level 2 Certificate is required (or willingness to obtain one before the event)
  • A valid Food Allergen Certificate is required (or willingness to obtain one before the event)
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work between 10th and 16th August.
