Digital Pharmacist

Job Summary

Evolve is partnering with a new client to recruit a Second Pharmacist for a community pharmacy in Ramsgate (CT11). This full‑time permanent role involves dispensing approximately 14,000 items per month and delivering a wide range of services, including Pharmacy 1st, dosette medication services, hormone treatments, and flu, COVID‑19, and travel vaccinations.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, alternate Saturdays 9:00am–1:00pm. The pharmacy is closed on Sundays.

Salary & Benefits – Starting salary up to £26 per hour (DOE), reimbursement of professional fees, pension, and more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and effective pharmacy practice, consistently meeting GPhC standards and delivering high quality patient care.




• Actively promote, maintain, and enhance the reputation of the pharmacy within the organisation through high standards of care and professionalism.




• Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of prescriptions and patient interactions, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance requirements.




• Remain up to date with new medicines, therapies, and advancements in pharmaceutical care to support evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• UK-accredited MPharm degree with strong clinical foundation.




• Current GPhC registration, enabling independent practice.




• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, ideally community; newly qualified pharmacists will also be considered.




• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.




• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with evolving medicines, services, and industry best practice.
