Shift available: 4 on 4 off nights. Rate of pay: £15.61 per hour for all hours worked up to 39 hours each week, plus a weekly shift allowance of £95.00 for the 4 on 4 off night shift pattern. Hours worked over 39 hours will be paid at time and a half.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times; complete all daily checks and report any vehicle defects.
- Ensure the correct goods are loaded and secured before moving the vehicle.
- Carry out trunking and multi‑drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law, including drivers’ working time regulations.
- Double‑check deliveries with the customer while providing a polite and helpful experience, obtaining relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to the home depot.
Qualifications
- Valid C+E driving licence with a valid in‑date DigiTacho and CPC.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 18 kg.
- Clear communication in English with team members.
