Business Development Manager – Mercedes Benz

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 Basic + £20,000 bonus OTE

Flexible working option available after successful probation period.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest level of customer experience to current and potentialcustomers toensure satisfaction and retention.
• Actively setting out to achieve and exceed both personal and departmentalsales objectives, proactivelyidentifying,canvassingand securing potential local business. This includes Commercial Vehicles whereappropriate.
• Delivering a thoughtful, personalised sales process whichdemonstratesa thorough understanding of the customer throughout.
• Maintaining and developing long term relationships with all current and potential customers from the existing database and prospecting, including conducting regular review meetings with management.
• Writing and presentingappropriateand professional business proposals whenrequired.
• Developing the sale ofappropriate Financeand Insurance packages to customers,in accordance withFCA best practise to ensure that agreedobjectivesare achieved.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service (no motor trade experience needed).
• Strong people skills – confident, professional, and customer-focused.
• Comfortable working to targets and deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence (free from excessive penalties).
