Electrical Charger Technician

Mid England – Oxford – Warwick – Nottingham – Norwich – Ipswich – Luton areas

40 hrs per week (OT might be available); Salary up to £38,000 + excellent company benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organising and completing service and maintenance visits on industrial battery chargers
  • Replacing batteries at customer sites
  • Surveying sites and completing service documentation accurately and on time
  • Providing technical support to customers and internal teams
  • Maintaining professional relationships and representing the business on-site
  • Travelling extensively within the UK (with occasional overseas travel)

What We’re Looking For

  • Electrical Technician experience, ideally within a field-based or customer-site environment
  • Strong commitment to health & safety standards
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Qualifications / Experience

  • Electrical/electronic fault finding
  • Electromechanical installation experience
  • Knowledge of SLA, NiCd, and Plante batteries
  • Health & Safety certification and CSCS card
  • Inspection & Testing (BS2391 or equivalent) – desirable
  • 18th Edition – desirable
