Unqualified Behaviour Teaching Assistant
We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Knowsley that supports young people who’ve struggled in mainstream education due to medical, social, emotional, or behavioural needs. About the Role
As an Unqualified Behaviour TA, you’ll work alongside experienced staff to:
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
- Build trust and consistency through 1:1 and small group work
- Help students re-engage with learning and develop resilience
- Model positive behaviour and encourage reflection
- Be part of a team that celebrates small wins and long‑term growth
No formal qualifications are required—just the right attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to helping young people thrive.
