Abatec are supporting a leading business in the milling and food production sector. They specialise in producing high-quality food ingredients and operate a busy, modern production facility.
We are looking for a reliable Machine Operator / Production Operative to join the team. This role has become available due to growth within the production facility. The successful candidate can expect a long-term, stable position in a supportive and structured environment, with opportunities to develop skills across machinery operation and production processes.
Hours and Pay
Week 1: 06.00am – 14.00pm
Week 2: 12.00pm – 00.00am
Key responsibilities
Operate machinery within a production environment
Carry out general production and assembly duties
Handle food products safely and hygienically
Perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks
Occasional reach truck forklift operation (experience required)
About you
Previous production or assembly experience is essential
Comfortable with manual handling and heavier lifting
Forklift reach truck licence is required
Own transport is essential due to the location
Positive attitude, reliable, and strong work ethic
