Full-time | 37.5 hours per week

Start date: 14 May 2026

Contract until: 31 December 2026

International travel required

We’re supporting a global conferences team to find an experienced Event Planner with a strong background in conference registration and virtual event delivery.

This role is registration-focused rather than end‑to‑end event planning and is well suited to someone who enjoys the operational side of events, thrives on detail, and is confident supporting large‑scale conferences across the UK and internationally.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of virtual and in‑person conferences, working closely with internal stakeholders and global teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the operational delivery of virtual events from start to finish
  • Setting up and managing event registration, including data accuracy and delegate experience
  • Coordinating delivery requirements with internal stakeholders
  • Supporting day‑of event execution
  • Training programme partners on virtual event technology and conference processes
  • Identifying new ways to engage virtual audiences and enhance the customer experience
  • Driving operational efficiencies across high‑volume events
  • Collaborating with global teams on process improvements
  • Supporting special projects related to virtual events and workflows

Travel Requirements

You must hold a valid passport and be able to travel internationally without visa restrictions. Travel is required across the UK and Europe, with some Middle East travel, particularly during:

  • June, September, October, November and December 2026

A full event schedule will be shared during the interview process.

About You

You’ll bring:

  • 2+ years’ professional experience, ideally supporting onsite or virtual conferences
  • A Bachelor’s degree (essential for consideration)
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Confidence working in fast‑paced, sometimes ambiguous environments
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and global teams
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a strong service ethic

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Experience with virtual event platforms such as Webex and Zoom
  • Confidence working with registration systems and event data

Working Pattern

  • 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day
  • Hybrid working: 1 day per week onsite (Egham area), 4 days remote
  • Full‑time contract running until 31 December 2026

If you enjoy behind‑the‑scenes event delivery, love precision, and want exposure to large‑scale international conferences, this is a brilliant opportunity.
