Your new role As Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of engineers and service activities, ensuring works are delivered efficiently and customers receive an excellent level of service. You will be responsible for scheduling engineers, managing service requests, coordinating documentation and compliance requirements, and acting as a key point of contact for responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and scheduling engineers for service, maintenance, installation and repair works.
- Managing customer enquiries and providing updates on job progress.
- Processing service reports and completion documentation.
- Monitoring outstanding jobs and ensuring work is progressed in a timely manner.
- Coordinating compliance requirements, including AccessNI applications and site-specific vetting.
- Maintaining accurate records within the job management system.
- Supporting operational processes to ensure high standards of service delivery.
What you’ll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an Operations Coordinator, Service Coordinator, Scheduler or similar administrative role.
- Experience coordinating field-based engineers or mobile workforces.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience using scheduling or job management software.
Experience within an engineering, maintenance, facilities management or technical services environment would be advantageous.What you’ll get in return
