Job Description Consultant in Adult Psychiatry – PICU & Home Treatment Team (HTT)n North Wales | Permanent | 10 PAs | £106,000–£154,760 DOEnn I’m recruiting on behalf of an NHS service in North Wales for a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work across a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Home Treatment Team (HTT).nn If you’re passionate about acute psychiatry and enjoy a mix of intensive inpatient work and intensive community treatment, this role offers genuine clinical variety and leadership opportunity.nn The Rolennn10 PA contract – 7 DCC, 3 SPA (with 1 SPA from home).n nnClinical leadership as Responsible Clinician for:n nnPatients admitted to PICU (regional service, accepting referrals from other areas).n nnPatients under the HTT, supporting admission avoidance and early discharge.n nnActive role in:n nnAssessment of new admissions, risk assessments and management plans.n nnRegular psychiatric reviews, MDT meetings & collaborative working with Acute Care and Community teams.n nnClinical supervision of junior doctors, wider clinical staff and medical students.n nnClinical audit, governance and service development within Acute Care pathways.nnnn Essential RequirementsnnnFull GMC registration with licence to practise and:n nnOn the Specialist Register in Psychiatry, or within 6 months of CCT.n nnSection 12 approved, or able to achieve within 3 months.n nnMRCPsych or equivalent acceptable to the Royal College of Psychiatrists.n nnValid UK driving licence.nnnn What’s on Offernnn£106,000 – £154,760 per annum (DOE).n nn34 days annual leave per year.n nn30 days study leave per 3 years.n nnOpportunity to shape and influence both PICU and HTT services within a supportive multi-disciplinary environment.nn…
