About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Computing to join Alleyn’s Hampstead Senior School. In this role you will teach Computing across the 11-18 age group, delivering engaging, challenging and supportive lessons that develop students’ confidence, fluency and problem-solving skills essential for the modern world.
Responsibilities
- Teach Computing to students aged 11 to 18.
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop confidence and fluency.
- Support learning and cultivate problem-solving skills across the curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- Implement adaptive teaching to maximise student progress.
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
- Engage learners across a wide range of abilities.
Qualifications
- Degree in computing or a related subject.
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification in computing or a relevant subject.
- Experience teaching computing at KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- Strong subject knowledge and adaptability.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
