Teaching Assistant (Part time)

Role Overview

Part‑time Teaching Assistant needed at a school supporting 60 pupils aged 4–19, including those with moderate to severe learning difficulties such as Autism.

Position requires a minimum of 3 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8:30–4:30 pm. Full training and funded qualifications will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
• Providing support to learners with SEN on a 1:1 basis, in small group and whole class settings

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
• Relevant SEN experience (desirable)
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in the UK
