Overview
Radiology Assistant working within the ultrasound departments at University Hospital Coventry, Hospital of St Cross and City of Coventry Health Centre. Providing support to patients and clinical staff.
Shift Pattern
Shift pattern over a 7‑day week (Sun‑Sat).
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care before, during and after imaging examinations.
- Coordinate movement of inpatients with porters.
- Clean scan rooms and maintain stock control.
- Support a variety of staff groups including Consultants, Nurses and Sonographers within the General Ultrasound Department.
Qualifications & Skills
- Enthusiastic, reliable and highly motivated with a genuine interest in patient care.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Band 2 level experience or suitable equivalent.
- Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
