Job Title: Food Production OperativeLocation: Trafford Park, England, North WestEmployment Type: Contract, Permanent, TemporarySalary: £12.71 per hour for day shifts, £14.26 per hour for night shiftsWork Hours: 3-shift pattern (05:50–13:50, 13:50–21:50, 21:50–05:50) Monday to FridayTraining: Full onsite training providedParking: Free car parking, excellent public transport linksSafety: No smoking on site, including breaks; requires health and safety knowledge and personal hygiene standards

Responsibilities

• Quality control at all stages of the production process
• Cleaning all work areas using various products and equipment
• Working efficiently on a fast‑moving line
• Packing products into boxes where required
• Ensuring high standards of work and inspecting produce for damage or tampering
• Completing manual handling tasks, lifting bags and boxes of product
• Assisting with ad‑hoc work such as cleaning and sweeping when required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in food manufacturing is a distinct advantage
• Physically fit to handle repetitive manual handling and stand all day
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Excellent personal hygiene standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible to work all three shifts and cover where required
• Reliable attendance and punctuality with a positive attitude
