Packing Operative FLT

Job Title: Packing Operative FLT (Glossop, England, East Midlands)

Employer: Kinetic PLC is working alongside a successful engineering company based in Glossop to recruit a Packing Operative who holds an FLT Licence.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum (salary to be confirmed).

Responsibilities:

• Use the FLT to load and unload.
• Pack high‑value components from the work order.
• Label the components and place them in the appropriate boxes.
• Work in an engineering environment.
• Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring traceability at every step.
• Complete shipping documents.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Use computers to book items off the systems.

Qualifications:

• FLT Licence – Counter Balance (must be held).
• Ability to work methodically and accurately.
• Experience working within an engineering environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Comfortable with lifting components of varying weight.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to reach Glossop easily.
