Carpenter – Multi-trader
Location: Coventry (Midlands-based travel)
Pay: £18.50 + per hour (PAYE) (Depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Facilities Management company based in Coventry, who are looking to appoint a qualified Carpenter on a permanent basis due to increased workload.
This is a hands‑on, varied role working across planned and reactive maintenance, alongside fit‑out and refurbishment projects across the Midlands.
The Role
- Carrying out planned and reactive carpentry maintenance and remedial works
- Supporting fit‑out and renovation works
- Undertaking occasional multi‑trade tasks where required
- Working across commercial and public sector environments
- Travelling across the Midlands, and sometimes further afield, with the possibility of very occasional overnight stays
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery (City & Guilds or NVQ)
- Proven experience within maintenance, FM, or fit‑out environments would be an advantage
- CSCS Card would be an advantage
- Ability to carry out multi‑trade tasks when needed such as basic plumbing & building fabric work etc.
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team
- The ability to pass a DBS Check
Important
This role is ideal for candidates with a short or immediate notice period, but the right applicant is key.
Applicants must be experienced in working as a direct employee (PAYE) rather than operating as a subcontractor or self‑employed.
