The Customer

We are partnering with a leading professional services organisation seeking an experienced debt recovery professional to join its established internal team.

This is a commercially focused position responsible for managing debt recovery matters, supporting the wider finance function and helping to drive effective recovery strategies across the business.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES 5 DAYS ON SITE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of debt recovery matters from instruction through to resolution.
  • Recovering outstanding monies owed by customers in a timely and commercially pragmatic manner.
  • Providing advice and guidance on debt recovery strategies and processes.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business to support the efficient management of aged debt.
  • Building effective relationships with key internal stakeholders and maintaining a visible presence within the wider organisation.
  • Supporting the finance function with debt-related matters and contributing to process improvements where appropriate.
  • Assisting with reporting, monitoring and ongoing management of debt recovery activities.

  • Qualified solicitors with experience in debt recovery and litigation matters.
  • Experienced debt recovery professionals from a non-qualified background with a proven track record of managing complex recovery work.

  • Candidates who enjoy working collaboratively and are comfortable operating within a visible, relationship-driven role.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary up to approximately £60,000, dependent upon experience.
  • Flexibility to be based from offices in Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham or Manchester.
