We’re recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join an established facilities team in Evesham, working within a secure environment. This is a stable, long‑term opportunity offering structured hours, consistent work, and ongoing development.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard, contributing to a safe and well‑kept environment.

Key Responsibilities
In this Grounds Maintenance Operative role, you will:
- Carry out general grounds maintenance (grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control)
- Support horticultural tasks such as planting, pruning, and seeding
- Maintain outdoor and recreational areas
- Operate tools, equipment, and light machinery safely
- Assist with general site upkeep and drainage tasks
- Carry out basic painting and maintenance duties when required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures
What we’re looking for
To be successful as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you should have:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience using maintenance tools or machinery
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Relevant tickets (e.g. spraying or chainsaw) are beneficial
- A reliable, proactive and team‑focused approach
