Our client is seeking a motivated Grounds Maintenance Team Leader and Operative to join their team in East Sussex.
About Our Client:
Our client is a reputable organisation specialising in commercial grounds maintenance. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality services to a variety of commercial properties, ensuring that outdoor environments are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing and executing grounds maintenance tasks across various commercial sites in the Brighton and Hastings areas, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard. The role involves the use of ride-on mowers and other specialised equipment, requiring a PA1 & PA6 certification (Team Leader) and the ability to pass a DBS check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Manage and maintain equipment and tools.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Report on project progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements:
Essential
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance.
- PA1 & PA6 certification (Team Leader).
- Full UK Driving Licence (Team Leader).
- Ability to pass a DBS check.
- Experience with ride-on mowers.
Desirable
- Towing Licence.
- Current DBS check.
- Experience in leading teams.
