About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious Apprentice Electrical Engineer to join our design team. This position offers hands‑on experience while working towards a recognised engineering qualification. The apprentice will support engineers in delivering innovative solutions across a variety of projects, from commercial developments and infrastructure schemes to sustainable buildings.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting electrical engineers with design and analysis work
  • Assisting in the preparation of drawings, calculations, and technical reports
  • Learning to use industry‑standard engineering software and design tools
  • Supporting project teams in delivering projects from concept to completion
  • Attending site visits to gain practical insight into construction processes
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions

Requirements

  • Recently completed (or working towards) A‑Levels, BTEC, or equivalent in Engineering, Maths or a related subject.
  • Able to qualify for the government apprenticeship criteria.
  • Strong interest in Electrical Engineering and the built environment.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to develop new technical skills.
