Overview
Right Now Group are recruiting for a large cargo ground handler at Heathrow. We are looking for a Forklift Operator with manual warehouse experience. You will be joining our client, a prestigious Ground Handler, within their dynamic and busy warehouse environment alongside their airline partners, ensuring cargo is delivered safely and securely around the world.

Hours
Shift pattern: 4 ON / 4 OFF – 2 days 06:30‑18:30 / 2 nights 18:30‑06:30
Salary
GBP 32,000 – GBP 33,000
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles carrying a variety of cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment.
- Perform manual handling as required.
- Use hand‑held devices to locate and identify cargo.
- Process paperwork in accordance with client requirements.
- Help break and build ULDs such as PAGS, PMCs and AKEs.
- Check cargo for discrepancies, damage or concerns when unloading.
Skills
- Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) – essential.
- Promote health & safety to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Previous warehouse experience – desirable.
- Complete pre‑employment checks, including a 5‑year checkable employment/education history and DBS check.
