Security Officer
Location: Fortescue Zero Unit 5a, Technology Drive, Kidlington, OX5 1GNSalary: £15.45 per hourHours: 47.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
- Wednesday & Thursday: 4:45pm – 12:00am
- Friday: 3:15pm – 12:00am
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00pm – 8:00am

Sodexo is looking for a professional and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Fortescue Zero Unit 5 in Kidlington. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for colleagues, visitors and the client while delivering excellent customer service.
What you’ll do
- Carry out security duties in accordance with site procedures and assignment instructions.
- Monitor access and egress, ensuring only authorised personnel enter the site.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises.
- Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies professionally and efficiently.
- Complete accurate reports and maintain security records.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
- Ensure all security operations comply with Health & Safety and company policies.
What you bring
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential).
- SIA CCTV Operator licence (desirable).
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to complete site-specific SIA vetting.
