We are seeking experienced HGV drivers with waste and aggregates background to operate vehicles such as bulker, skip, tipper, and grab lorries. The role involves daily driving duties, ensuring compliance with legal and company procedures, vehicle safety checks, and accurate paperwork. Key responsibilities include adhering to driver hours regulations, maintaining communication with the traffic office, and reporting incidents promptly.
The ideal candidates will hold a class 2 CPC card and digicard, have relevant vehicle experience, and possess good communication skills. Waste management or construction industry experience is desirable. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £16.60, overtime, a 45-hour weekly contract, benefits like a pension, life assurance, health plan, paid holiday, and full PPE. The position is full-time and permanent, based on-site, with a supportive team in a growing waste management and demolition company.
