Connect 2 Swindon is looking for experienced Support Assistants to provide flexible, temporary care across a variety of settings in the Swindon area. The role works around your schedule and supports individuals to live their best lives.

The Role

As a Support Assistant you will work across Residential Care Homes, Supported Living, and Respite Services. Your primary focus is to support each individual to be as independent as possible, prioritising choice and following their Care Plans to deliver person‑centred care.

Duties

• Personal Care
• Support with eating and drinking
• Manual handling
• Record keeping
• Providing practical, emotional and physical support
• Support to access the community
• General cleaning/housekeeping duties

Qualifications

You must have proven experience working in a Care or Support setting and prior experience in manual handling.
