Customer Service Advisor – Chemist4U

Reporting to: Customer Service Team Leader

Job type: Permanent

Working Pattern & Hours: Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm–9:30 pm, with one Saturday shift every four weeks. Training period: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm.

Location: Office located – Lancashire, WN8.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and webchat promptly and professionally.
  • Provide support to customers post‑sales to build lasting relationships.
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services and orders.
  • Handle complaints at first point of contact, resolving issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Process transactions such as orders, returns and refunds in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products and services to assist customers effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and improve service.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Follow company procedures and regulatory guidelines for handling customer data.

  • Proven written communication skills – ability to write clear and professional responses.

  • Good communicator – clear and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Customer service expertise – experience in a customer‑facing role.
  • Organisational skills – ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy – ensure all customer information is handled correctly.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure – handle high volumes of customer enquiries efficiently.
