Design Manager (Structural Steel / Construction)
£80,000 – £90,000 + for a rapidly growing business offering leadership, autonomy, responsibility, and benefits.

Are you a Design Manager with a background in Structural Steel looking to manage a small team of elite engineers for a forward‑thinking business that has more than doubled turnover in the last two years and is well on track to continue this growth?
In this role you will report to the Directors and be ultimately responsible for ensuring designs are completed on time while leading a small team of three Design Engineers. You will work with in‑house project managers and main contractors on a variety of projects in Residential, Logistics and Commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of Design Engineers and 3D CAD Designers
- Ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on schedule
- Check design work and provide training & guidance to the team
- Liaise with internal Project Managers and main end clients
Qualifications
- Design Manager or similar experience
- Background in Structural Steel
- Knowledge of Advanced Steel or Tekla
Monday – Friday, office‑based, 8:30 am – 5 pm (4 pm finish on Friday).
