Grounds Maintenance Team Leaders

Job Overview

We are seeking 2 Grounds Maintenance Team Leaders (BS32) to serve as charge hand for a horticulture and grounds maintenance team at immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2-3 operatives as charge hand
• Carry out hedge cutting, strimming, use pedestrian and ride‑on mowers
• Perform grass cutting/maintenance, weed control and general grounds maintenance duties

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Compensation

Up to £16.19 per hour including holiday pay.

Requirements

• Minimum good experience and knowledge of the industry
• Valid driver’s licence
• Experience with PA1/PA6 or Lantra/NPCT – strongly desired but not essential
• Commercial grounds maintenance experience preferred

Benefits

Permanent role after a 3‑month probation, company bonus scheme and pension scheme (if permanent). Deposition/working site close to Aldershot; clients include schools, business parks, industrial estates, and housing developments.
