To deliver customers’ products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route.
Responsibilities
- Represent DX in a professional manner at all times.
- Drive vehicles safely and legally, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.
- Perform all daily checks, reporting defects immediately and completing correct paperwork.
- Scan all products using DX scanning equipment.
- Load all deliveries safely prior to leaving the depot.
- Follow DX procedures and policies at all times.
- Manage routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
- Ensure the correct equipment and PPE is in good order and used at all times.
- Report delivery and on‑road issues to the traffic office immediately.
- Ensure customers receive their deliveries in excellent condition every time.
- Handle customer issues politely and effectively.
- Ensure collections are made in line with given instructions and times.
Qualifications
- Must hold a C1 licence or above with a valid DQC and tacho card.
- Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans.
- Ability to build rapport with customers.
- Pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
