Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide general administrative/financial support across Family Hubs services. The successful candidate will provide a high quality, positive customer experience as the first point of contact for families and partners to Family Hubs and Outreach Hubs. The role includes reception duties such as answering telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries, signing in visitors as part of safeguarding arrangements, and providing assistance with the welfare of children by liaising with parents and staff as required. Additional responsibilities include making arrangements for events, partner bookings and the parent carer panels, taking notes, distributing mail and performing other administrative tasks. The candidate will work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and their own position within these.

About You

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to use relevant office equipment and computer systems.
  • Ability to relate effectively to children and adults.
  • General clerical/administrative/financial experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to identify own training and development needs.
