Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will: Support high-quality teaching and learning across different key stages
- Work with individuals and small groups, including pupils with SEND and additional needs
- Help create a positive, inclusive environment where all children feel safe, supported and valued
- Adapt activities and resources to support pupils’ engagement and progress
- Promote positive behaviour and attitudes to learning
- Support Early Years provision where required, including play-based learning
- Work closely with teachers, leaders and families to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and our strong team ethos
Qualifications
- We are looking for someone who is:
- A committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a recognised TA qualification
- Passionate about inclusion and supporting all children to succeed
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Adaptable and confident working across different age groups and needs
- Patient, nurturing and able to support pupils’ emotional and social development
- Committed to raising aspirations, particularly for pupils facing disadvantage
- Supportive of the Christian ethos and values of our school
