- £13,266 to £13,689 actual per annum
- Term time only (39 weeks per year), 22.66 hours per week
- Permanent contract commencing as soon as possible
About the role
Westbourne Academy is looking for a Teaching Assistant who strives to share their passion for education with our students and join our dedicated team to uphold the Academy’s vision and values.
Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning by establishing supportive relationships with students.
- Help raise students’ self‑esteem and develop a positive attitude to learning.
- Support students in the classroom to ensure progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Use own initiative to support classroom activities.
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, patient, with initiative.
- Previous experience in a relevant educational role desirable but not essential.
- Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
