Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Salary: £25,341.12 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Fixed term – April 2027 | Term Time Only

The Executive Headteacher is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Aspiring Instructor to join our thriving SEMH school. Working closely with our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality learning experiences that inspire, motivate and support our pupils to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver well‑structured, engaging lessons by adapting schemes of work to meet pupil needs.
- Manage classes effectively using approaches that motivate and support pupils with SEMH needs.
- Assess learning accurately and use this to inform teaching.
- Work closely with pupils experiencing social, emotional and mental health challenges, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
- Maintain a safe, positive and productive learning environment through effective behaviour management.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.
Qualifications
- GCSE’s Grade 4/C above or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Have experience within an SEMH/SEN specialist provision or are currently working in a mainstream or college setting.
- Are enthusiastic, flexible and aligned with our school values.
- Are eager to develop their skills within a specialist SEMH environment.
- Are committed to ongoing professional development and career progression.
- Are motivated to make a meaningful difference to pupils with additional needs.
