Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you’ll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office – Inverness, Highlands, Moray, Caithness and Sutherland.

Salary: £68,100- £102,100+car allowance+operations disturbance allowance +performance‑related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

The Network Integrity Manager is a critical leadership role accountable for the performance, reliability, and integrity of the electricity transmission network within a defined region. You will lead a highly skilled team and work closely with internal stakeholders, and contract partners to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of critical infrastructure, delivering excellent customer outcomes and regulatory performance.

This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic network performance while directly shaping operational delivery across a growing and evolving asset portfolio.

You will

  • Manage the safe and efficient operation of the transmission network, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and customer outcomes.
  • Take ownership of network integrity by managing system faults, network risk, asset defects, and preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Deliver against key regulatory and operational performance measures, including network availability, risk reduction, and customer interruption metrics.
  • Manage, develop and motivate teams of engineers and managers, ensuring high performance, strong safety culture, and effective workforce planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analysing network performance, resolving defects, optimising outage plans, and improving productivity and delivery efficiency.

You have

  • Strong leadership experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams within an operational engineering environment.
  • Proven track record in electricity transmission, energy infrastructure, or a comparable regulated industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety, regulatory, and operational performance requirements within a critical infrastructure environment.
  • Experience managing budgets, contractors, and complex operational programmes to deliver business objectives.
  • Degree‑level qualification in Engineering (or equivalent experience) with strong technical and commercial awareness.
