DIAGNOSTIC VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Salary: Up to £48,000 (DOE & Bonus)

Location: North Birmingham

Hours: Monday – Friday + Saturday Morning (Rota)

A new role has opened for an experienced Diagnostic Technician looking for the next step to improve their diagnostic ability. We’re working with a busy, well-established workshop in North Birmingham looking for a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join their team. You’ll be trusted with complex faults, advanced diagnostics and supporting the wider workshop when things get tricky.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out advanced diagnostics on electrical & mechanical faults
• Using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment
• Identifying and resolving complex, intermittent issues
• Supporting other technicians with fault finding and repairs
• Completing servicing, maintenance & repair work when required
• Working on engines, gearboxes & major components

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician
• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Confident working with modern vehicle systems & electronics
• Full UK Driving Licence
