Job Description:

We are recruiting a Project Support Officer to help ensure the timely and successful implementation of our ‘We Are Well’ joint wellbeing and inclusion project across Dorset HealthCare and Dorset County Hospital.

This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.

Main duties of the job

Plan and organise project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and note and action taking for the We are Well project delivery group, ensuring accurate and ongoing action tracking.

Accurately maintain project documentation including action logs, risk registers, decision logs, and programme trackers, ensuring they are up to date and accessible across both Trusts as required.

Monitor project plans, timelines and procurement activities under the guidance of the Workforce Wellbeing Lead and support with data collection and evaluation reporting.

Person Specification

Information Technology

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office software including Outlook, word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams.

Knowledge, skills and training

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of experience.
  • Previous experience of workforce wellbeing support.

Job specific experience

  • Experience of arranging meetings and complex diary management.
  • Effective at team working and interacting and communicating with colleagues.
  • Evidence of good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to multitask, perform under pressure within a time frame and deal with competing priorities.
