Location: Bradford (Sir Henry Mitchell House). Salary: £38,220 – £46,142 per annum. Retention payment: £3,000. Work arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office). Permanent role. Sponsorship not available.
Are you a passionate Social Worker looking to make a lasting difference to the lives of children and young people? Bradford Children and Families Trust is expanding its Children in Care Service and needs dedicated Social Workers to join its Corporate Parenting teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage a caseload of children in care.
- Undertake statutory visits and care planning.
- Drive permanence planning and achieve the best long‑term outcomes for children.
- Work closely with foster carers, families, schools, and health professionals.
- Champion the voice of the child and ensure their needs remain at the centre of decision‑making.
- Support children and young people to achieve stability, safety, and positive life chances.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Experience within Children’s Social Care, ideally Children in Care, Safeguarding, or Locality Services.
- Strong assessment, planning, and relationship‑building skills.
- A child‑centred practitioner passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
- An individual who thrives in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
