About the Client: Our client is an emerging AI‑powered HRTech platform that recently completed its Seed funding round. They need a veteran marketing strategist on a fractional basis to establish their initial positioning before investing in a full‑time executive team.
nThe Rolen
As a Fractional CMO, you will partner directly with the founders to build a scalable marketing architecture from the ground up. You will focus on clarifying the brand message, optimizing capital allocation across acquisition channels, and building a foundation for sustainable inbound lead generation.
nKey Responsibilitiesn

- Audit the current marketing stack and build a predictable demand generation framework aligned with commercial goals.
- Define corporate positioning, category messaging, and initial ideal customer profile (ICP) frameworks.
- Set clear performance targets for early marketing hires and specialized external agencies.
- Advise executive leadership on the strategic timing and budget profiles required for a permanent marketing structure.

nCandidate Requirementsn

- 10+ years of tech marketing experience with a proven track record as a full‑time CMO or VP of Marketing within a SaaS company that scaled past £15M ARR.
- Prior experience working in an advisory or fractional capacity with early‑stage, fast‑moving software startups.
- Strong mix of analytical demand‑generation expertise and brand positioning strategy.
