About the Museum

The Royal Air Force Museum is a national museum, a Government non departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity. We have two public sites in the Midlands and London and a stored collection at Stafford. Our purpose is to share the RAF story—past, present and future—using the stories of its people and our collections to engage, inform and inspire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily programmed activities for schools (onsite, online and occasionally offsite).
• Work with families and other museum audiences.
• Develop activities, resources, events and experiences enabling a wide range of learners to access and enjoy the museum.
• Lead on Early Years provision across all learning & engagement department activities.
• Work occasional weekends, bank holidays and evenings as necessary; attend all museum sites (London, Cosford, Stafford) and outreach venues.

Requirements

Experience delivering workshops for schools in a lively and imaginative way.
