- Translating consumer insights and emerging trends into tangible engineering solutions and demonstrators.
- Designing and building proof‑of‑concept prototypes to validate new ideas, mechanisms, and technologies.
- Conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and trade‑off analyses to guide concept direction.
- Applying strong engineering fundamentals to evaluate performance, scalability, and potential for future commercialization.
- Iterating rapidly through hands‑on prototyping, testing, and learning cycles.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define product vision, technical roadmaps, and innovation pipelines.
- Communicating concepts and technical ideas clearly through CAD, prototypes, and presentations.
- Supporting the transition of promising concepts into New Product Development teams.
- Contributing to a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design Engineering.
- Experience in mechanical or product design, ideally with exposure to early‑stage or concept development work.
- Experience in consumer goods or household appliances is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of plastics and manufacturing processes, with the ability to balance innovation and feasibility.
- Proven ability to solve ambiguous problems and explore multiple solution pathways.
- High proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo.
- Hands‑on prototyping skills and a test‑and‑learn mindset.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate early‑stage ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in less‑defined spaces.
