Printer Deployment Technician – Field Based
Location: Maidenhead, SL6 (Warehouse). Work nationwide for weekly pickups. Salary: £32,702 per year (estimated). Contract: 3 months rolling, paid via an umbrella company.
We are looking for a reliable individual who can deliver, install, and remove multi‑function office printers across the country. Basic IT knowledge and awareness are required; specific training will be provided. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that printers are installed to specification and functioning correctly.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver, install and remove printers nationwide.
- Provide on‑site support and basic troubleshooting.
- Manage travel and time efficiently.
- Operate a Luton van and maintain a clean UK driving record.
Requirements
- Full UK driver licence with no more than 6 points.
- Must be able to drive a Luton van.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Good time‑keeping and time‑management.
- Ability to work outside normal office hours and travel on short notice (4‑5 days a week, rarely consecutive).
We will supply a vehicle, fuel card and cover hotel costs when required. Flexibility to travel away from home is essential. The role will be subject to a post‑offer background verification in accordance with local legislation.
