Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Back of House team, ensuring high productivity, excellent performance, and compliance with hotel standards.
- Oversee the cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of all Back of House areas, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, food hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Manage staffing operations, including rota planning, team training, inductions, and performance management tomaintainan engaged and high-performing team.
- Coordinate with operational departments, including Kitchen, Banqueting, and Engineering, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations andtimelyresolution of maintenance and equipment requirements.
- Manage Back of House resources and budgets, including stock control, purchase orders, equipment management, and contractor relationships to support efficient operations.
As aBack of HouseManager,you will be workingon arotatingshift basis,Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary frommorning and evening shifts(including weekends and bank holidays),so flexibility isrequiredwhereapplicable.
TobeasuccessfulBack of HouseManagercandidate, youmust have a collaborative attitude, excellentcommunicationskillsandpreviousexperience supervising othersin a similar 5-star luxury environment.
